The Record Dungeon in Chester, NY is the Hudson Valley's oldest all-vinyl record shop.

We have 45s and LPs in all styles of music of the 50s thru 80s, and specializing in DooWop, Soul, Rhythm & Blues, and Rockabilly.

We have original pressings, reissues, colored wax, picture discs, and rare collector items.

We also sell record supplies...sleeves, storage boxes, etc.

Record Dungeon was founded in 1980 by Eddie D. who ran the store from 1980 to 2002. The store is now open again with Tony O. as the new Dungeon Master.

Record Dungeon has it's roots in the shops Eddie D. frequented during his juvenile delinquent years in the Bronx. Cousins Records, Music Makres, both on Fordham Road, Times Square in Manhattan, Relic Rack in Hackensack NJ, and later Val Shively's R&B Records in Upper Darby, PA and Ronnie I's Clifton Music. The store was driven by Ed's love of 50s Rock & Roll, and fueled by the radio shows and the stations that played "Oldies But Goodies". Today, Tony holds to the same roots, and continues in same the tradition.
